“After an impromptu decision to visit our youngest at Tech, we booked a room at The Ashmore Inn and Suites in Lubbock for the holiday weekend. We’ve stayed there, as well as many other Lubbock hotels over the last 30 years. Ashmore has never been anything fancy or fantastic, but clean, safe and reliable. This visit was horrible. “The room was clean, and staff was helpful. I found it strange that the front desk had restrictions on the TVs volume. Remote would not work or couldn’t be adjusted without their assistance. The coffee maker in the room and refrigerator did not work properly. The refrigerator froze everything, when adjusted it was either to warm or way to cold. The air conditioner was so loud, it made it difficult to sleep. This was not somewhere I would stay again for longer than a night, our 3 day stay was...

“Check in was prompt. Room was good shape. Alarm by bed went off during the night. We had not set. The breakfast was not nutritious. The hotel was a great location. I had to request a statement. Good value for price.”

“The room was clean 👌, but the hot water was between warm and hot and not much pressure on the shower head. The front desk guy is not very friendly. But overall it was good for the price”
