Hotel in zona Shell Island, Wrightsville Beach

“Fantastic ocean beach view from the balcony! Could see Wilmington buildings a few miles to the South. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach road! Walk the beach 1.5 miles northward the the ocean "river" flowing into the salt water marsh...Amazing!”

“No issues with air at all. Nice view to the ocean. One car per room so make sure to keep that in mind or pay to park other places. Room was clean and had a great time! ”

“Not worth the price. I stayed here plenty of times when it was Blockade Runner. Trailborn has doubled the price and I don’t really see the “upgrades” in the actual room. Shower is a regular tub combo and water pressure is non existent. Thought I’d give it a shot since you can’t beat walking out of your room straight to the beach. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for nowhere near the cost. At least give me a balcony. Nope. It’s clean and the beds are comfy. As soon as I pulled up, the concierge...

“Ive stayed at this hotel several times and will keep coming back. Our room was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and professional. The pool was undergoing repairs and so not usable. Also, i had to call the desk for toilet paper, as we had only half a roll and no extras. Breakfast choices were really good, including eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, fruit and yogurt. Good experience overall.”

“We recently stayed at the Element Hotel in Wilmington, NC and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful with a modern design and stylish furnishings that create a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Our room was well-appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the in-room kitchen was a great feature. Having filtered water available was also a nice bonus. “Clean property, bed was lumpy and the comforter didn’t fit, and oddly shaped, I think it was designed for a smaller bed size. Breakfast had a Nice selection but poorly prepared, eggs were tasteless and very wet, oatmeal was soup”

“I love staying here. The staff is always personable and I love the direct access to the beach and view. Hopefully next time they will have the additional elevator fixed because sometimes they wait for the elevator is a little long but they do have stairs available. The tropical is such a good restaurant. I will be back soon. This is the only place that I enjoy staying.”
