Inn a Shepton Mallet

“A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast. Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for. A perfect stop over in a peaceful location”

“A nice stay. A lovely pub right in the middle of Frome. We stayed here to go to an event at the Cheese and Grain which was perfect. Just be aware that as the rooms are part of an active pub you may get some noise on busier nights”

“Lovely staff who go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. Lovely location and very peaceful, food was very decent.”

“My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. We were given a flask of fresh milk to have with tea/coffee in the room, and some freshly baked cookies. I couldn’t get the shower to cool down, this...

“We were only given 1 teabag for our stay. No hot water in the hand basin for shaving.”

“Lovely, attentive staff who made me feel welcome. Unfortunately, the shower was positioned under the eaves of the roof, meaning anyone over 5ft 5in had to bend down to use it. There was also a power cut from 7am until 8:50am, and I was disappointed that no apology or acknowledgement was offered the following morning. A simple apology would have been a nice gesture.”

“We stayed in the Woolley and loved the room, it was comfortable and characterful. Both the full english and vegan breakfasts were excellent! We really enjoyed the scrambled eggs too! We look forward to staying there again, the next time we are in Bath!”

“Lovely hotel in lovely area. Close to Stonehenge and other places worth visiting. Very good breakfast included in the price.”
