“We had a lovely stay at the Alma Inn. The food was lovely. The staff were really friendly. The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. ”

“The hotel/pub is in the centre of Hebden bridge. The town has a nightmare parking situation especially at weekends. We were very lucky to be able to get a parking space at the pub. The staff were lovely and friendly throughout our stay. The room was huge. Very clean and nicely decorated. Only niggle was it was incredibly warm and no aircon. We mangaged to open a window which i think was paint stuck. The other window wouldn't budge. The bathroom was huge with a big tub, nice toiletries and...

“Modern, spacious and tidy accommodation, food and service by staff was excellent. WiFi was excellent as had to do some work in the evening. Minor point was GF room window - I was not able to open without compromising security of room. If there was any plan on upgrades a small gym facility would make it a perfect destination for me!”

“My room was excellent. Clean, characterful with oak beams yet modern. Breakfast was excellent. The pub downstairs is a bit rough as an introduction to the rooms but no issues and no noise (but I was three stories up above the stream!).”

“Beautiful place, with stunning views front and back. Room was fine, but the bathroom was a bit tired. Didn’t eat there but the food looked nice. Would be lovely to sit outside with a beer when the weather picks up a bit. Will stay again. ”

“This is a gem of a pub. The owners and staff are so welcoming and helpful. Great range of beers and excellent food. In a quiet location but close to a lot of places of interest. Ample free parking and great breakfast. Super pet friendly too.”

“Local, family managed hotel, located on a beautiful spot of the river. Lovely vibe, and welcoming and the breakfast was exceptional!! It’s not a Holiday Inn /Marriott formulaic residence, much more of an authentic local hotel, so without some of the frills, but the honest warm welcome and great food more than makes up”

“Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again.”
