Inn a Shibden

“Friendly family business, good value. Comfortable bed and hot shower which was exactly what I needed after 18 hours of international travel. I stayed 2 nights in late September to attend a wedding in nearby Ripponden. The room was quite chilly but I actually like sleeping in a cold room. A space heater was provided, though I didn’t use it as the bed was cosy enough. It was handy that they served food downstairs and I really appreciated the vegetarian/vegan selections including veggie sausages...

“The White Lion is a very quaint, cozy hotel. Our room was beautiful. Comfortable and clean. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.”

“Buona colazione all’inglese abbondante. Prossimo al museo Brönte, all’inizio della main street. Consiglio di fare il giro dalla strada asfaltata invece che dalla pavimentazione, l’hotel è nel punto più alto del paese”
