“Beautiful property but the whole building is uneven, floors have big dips in them, the stairs are on a slant and so is the landing so quite dangerous for anyone with balance problems. No washing machine either!”

“Location is fine and also the surrounds but breakfast is not suitable for non uk people. I dont like british breakfast and ı could not find much to eat”

“Lift out of order and as I am not able to walk far was a disadvantage Room far too hot some rooms had a fan but not ours. Bathroom door would not close which needed adjustment”

I stayed in the Barn cottage and I cannot recommend it highly enough, the same goes for the food that comes out of their kitchen. “A wonderful, peaceful break at Borrowfield Lodge. With all the styling and privacy, You can feel like you're way out in the countryside, despite being within easy travel distant of plenty of things to do in Derby. A perfect place to unwind and relax. Great facilities, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be booking again.”

“The hotel was clean and it had secure parking around the back. Breakfast is incorrectly advertised as online it says breakfast cooked to order, but in reality it is packaged croissants, apples and cereal. Not the warmest of welcomes from the staff. All round ok stay”
