“Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. ”

“A friendly check in. Everything the hotel offers seems to have been given thought. Standards generally high and everything most people would need was available. ”

“Easy to check in. Was very surprised how well kept and clean the room was and actually matched the photos, very impressed. Also very quiet considering it is right next to the A1. On returning from a wedding we had the pleasure of speaking with Michael on reception who is a credit to the hotel, fantastic hospitality and chat, such a laugh! Will definitely stay again if needs be. ”

“The Margaret Suite (room 8) double room was really good. Four poster bed and a fridge in the room. It’s the first floor bay window at the front of the building so you can see the sea. Apart from arrival, I didn’t see staff again. The room was clean and the room was quiet. The Expedia booking confirmation from the hotel starts with “Unfortunately…” and goes on about what you can and can’t do and their right to change the price. It’s not very welcoming so I’d recommend changing that. ”

“I booked for 4 nights,stayed for the first then left,i think that says it all,the room stank of weed.when i got home i had to wash ALL of my clothes,including the ones i hadn't worn that where hanging in the wardrobe...dreadful experience ”

“Firstly the positives for the Roker hotel are as follows the parking is good and free with your stay and the staff are lovely a big shout out to Ian on reception he is a lovely guy but positives out of the way the negatives are many firstly the carpet in the passage way is filthy and needs replacing and the chandelier on the stairs is thick of dust with bulbs missing not a good start then onto the room we stayed in well I would say it is show over substance what I mean by that is that the glitz...
