“The Sunderland Holiday Inn staff were wonderful. I had a bad fall at the theatre and when I got back they couldn’t have been more kind and helpful, especially Kieran. He offered to take me to A&E but I did not want to go. He bathed my wound and found a plaster for it. I cannot remember the name of the other receptionist but she was equally as kind and helpful. “There were several family members who stayed her for a family reunion and it was perfect. Caitlin was a lovely lady who looked after us she was extremely kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were just as nice and friendly. The meals were great and huge, it was a shame that we couldn't have stayed longer to try one of there roast dinners.
The rooms were spotless and very well kept. If we needed extras for our rooms we only needed to ask.

“It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish.
I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. ”
