“We recently stayed at The Whitehouse Hotel in Peterlee as a group of five, and it was an absolute delight. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—just what we needed for a relaxing stay. Although we hadn’t pre-booked breakfast for all five of us the night before, the staff were more than happy to accommodate us on the day without any fuss, which we really appreciated. “We came from Newcastle and stayed the night. We wanted to try the monster sharer and it did not dissapoint. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty and the waiting team were superb, our drinks were always topped up and they were always making sure we were ok. The restaurant was super busy and there was not one time i didnt see a queue out of the door. I was a bit apprehensive when i saw how busy it was but the whole team had it running like clockwork. The rooms are not expensive at all...

“The hotel room needed some updates, the lamp shade was in bits! But overall the friendliness and location won out!”

“It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish. I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. ”
