“A nice quiet place to rest on our journey up north. The staff was helpful, the beds were comfy, and the room was unexpectedly large for England. Breakfast was delicious. Only bad part was that there were not enough usb charging ports by the bed, but it’s not a big deal. Probably our best stay on our England trip.”

“Check in was busy due to many guests arriving at the same time but the staff dealt with it well and were very friendly. It's a beatiful old building with nice modern rooms. The bathroom was big with a walk in shower and a large bath. The restaurant dinner was really very good and also great service from the staff. I did not use the spa or pool facilities so can't comment on them.”

“This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star.
