Wonderful Stay!!

My grandson and his wife stayed here while searching for a home to purchase in the area. They said it was perfectly clean, comfortable and safe. I was lucky to have found this week and if it had been available longer, I would have reserved another week.

Great little cottage in a quiet neighborhood!

From the moment I stepped in the cottage it felt like home! I was lucky enough to find this gem for an extended stay (10 weeks) and I’m so glad that I did! The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood, but still pretty close to everything. I was always very comfortable in the cottage and Bethard’s were the perfect hosts! I would recommend the cottage to anyone, whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or something a little longer you won’t be disappointed!

Charming cottage perfect for any stay

We stayed three nights in this adorable little back house and wish we could have stayed longer. It has everything a couple or small family like ours needs. The setting feels fully private and everything from the bed(s) to the hot shower is beyond comfortable and cozy. If you’re looking for an alternative to a cold hotel room and like the quiet of a semi-rural neighborhood, book this spot for your next visit to Shreveport. You’ll be happy you did.

Perfect Quiet Cottage

The Rural Woods Cottage is located in a great location , the neighborhood is just far enough out of town but close to everything you need. Ben is a joy to work with, we have stayed there a couple times now and will continue to book the cottage any time we go to the area.

Awsome stay very relaxing.

I stayed in the brewshack while working in Shreveport. loved every minute of my stay I was surprised that the location made it feel like you were way out in the country but you are close to everything.I will definitely check fo see if it is open the next time I am in the area.

Cozy & Quiet

We stayed for several nights while my husband fished a bass tournament on the Red River. The owners were sweet and accommodating. It is in a quiet, safe and lovely neighborhood where I felt comfortable going for a walk alone . The cottage has cooking facilities, a refrigerator, washer & dryer and queen bed. It is also close to restaurants, grocery stores and malls (5-10 min drive). We would stay here again.
