“Overall, I am happy with the place. I stayed in room 203. The king size bed was comfy. The room is so spacious but my only issue is the toilet. The space between the toilet bowl and the wall is so small that it would be a problem for tall people. Breakfast choices are ok. Staff in general are so nice and helpful. The location is ok but you will definitely need a car. We brought a car but am sure the hotel can arrange transportation. ”

“The property is in a good position for Sibulan Airport and shopping and eating at Robinsons mall. Although the property could do with a little touch up with a coat of paint, it was generally in very good condition and Staff were very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was good value for money. Definitely will stay again when visiting Dumaguete. ”

“Rovira Suites is the best place to stay in Dumaguete. No competitor has really put together the same level of products and services. From tooth brushes you'd actually not mind taking home, to soft pillows that don't leave you with a sore neck, they've got it all down correctly. A suggestion I would offer to the management is being a bit more prompt on cleaning up what the customers leave behind would help greatly to maintain the brand.”

“Excellent place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet after a long day of adventure around the island. Management and staff are very accommodating with motorcycles for rent onsite. The property is surrounded with plenty of trees and flowers making it a lot easier to “tambay” outside on hot days. Also free pick up and drop off at the port makes it all the more convenient for visitors. Highly recommended!”

“Great venue - what you see is what you get. There are things to improve on, a fridge in the room would be most wanted rather than a communal one on each floor after all it’s hot in the Philippines and you want a cold drink at night. Pool fantastic, staff fantastic and overall an 8.5 out of 10. Breakfast a little basic but the cafe behind does fantastic Filipino cuisine. It’s like an Ibis or your basic Novotel ”

“NOISY NOISY NOISY. Traffic noise is unbearable sleeplessness. Entirely fixable management simply too cheap to install 2nd pane of glass which would cut noise by 70%. Shame on cheap management. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT PEACEFUL SLEEP. Period”

“The staff at CoCo Grande are the best, they treat everyone like family. It’s clean, quiet, and relaxing. It is dated but that gives it character. Traffic would be the only negative factor but that is a problem all over the city of Dumaguete.”

“This is my favorite place to stay in Dumaguete. Staff go the extra mile to accommodate guests' needs; rooms are comfortable; complimentary breakfast is excellent; location is close to downtown. The two most significant 'negatives' are: location next to several schools results in heavy traffic, especially between 3-6 PM. Also, water pressure in rooms is somewhat weak and water temperature lukewarm.”

“Although I knew of the construction going on, I still enjoyed my stay aside from the noise. I'm ready to plan for next year. I will be returning when the pool is finished.
