“We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. Our room was gorgeous; modern yet rustic and equipped with everything to make our stay spot on! Staff were lovely and attentive, and breakfast was amazing. “Nice clean room, the shower room was a bit tired but fully functional and lots of hot water also the supplied towels were really fluffy. Bed was super comfy and huge. We had a quiet night with no disturbances. Only downside, no glasses for water for overnight/taking tablets but I wouldn't want to be too picky. ”

We would certainly visit again but would maybe ask for a slightly different room with a more comfortable mattress. This though, is purely a matter of preference. ”
