Hotel vicino a Silver Stream Railway - Upper Hutt

“No wall oven or extractor fan in kitchen which limited cooking options/made it a bit difficult to cook - advertised as full kitchen so was expecting this but also should have looked at photo. Some road noise at night as right next to road. Very warm and cosy.”

“Great location and close to a lot of amenities. Restaurant was nice for breakfast in the morning”

“Have been back here the second time and it just keeps getting better! I booked 2 different rooms for our group. They gave us an upgrade so we can be closer to one another. The staff are just too nice. Parking space is HUGE. The motel always smells so good. We love the homey feel of this motel. I commented last time that the place had no hairdryer so they made sure we got one - how attentive are they? We visit Wellington often so we will be booking this place every time from now on :)”

“Excellent value for money, five star motel with secure parking and central Trentham location.”

“The staff were very helpful. Had a room with a sofa bed and the staff made up the bed. Clean room and alot of space.”

“Would stay here again was super quiet and we had a very nice room.”

“Great place to stay”

“Quiet and very clean. We arrived well before check-in but we were able to leave our luggage in the unit. The only negative was that all the pillows were very high. We bought some very cheap low profile ones at the Mall. Smart TV so we were able to watch our usual programs without casting. Very reasonably priced.”

“First hostel I’ve stayed in. You guys have set the bar high. Everything from the beds to the amenities were better than some of the hotels and I have stayed at. Thank you so much for taking care of us.”

“x”

“Very supportive staff,felt like home.”

“Water wouldn't go down the drain, and a few cabinets need there hinges fixed.otherwise very comfortable.”

“Was a good motel. Looks a bit shabby from the outside but inside, it’s still okay. We had a broken bathroom sliding door which was the disadvantage of it all but apart from that, it was a nice stay here and very spacious!”

“Parking is v good and owner was and is vv nice and helpful ad room lovely and clean”

“We had 2 nights at the Capital, our room was excellent, on arrival it was very clean and Tidy after a weekend there our only complaint was that the shower floor was a trifle slippery and a rubber mat could have been installed for safety. We were disappointed that the Bar was not operating but that was not the fault of Capital, they were still waiting for licsence renewal. Would stay again no problem.”

“Room was nice and clean but location was noisy. Located right next to BFT so was woken by loud music at 5.30 each morning.”
