“Was assigned a room and when I opened the door there were clothes and boots on the bed. When I went to the front desk I was finally assigned a bottom floor which I requested to start with. Also found I was given a non upgraded room when I paid for an upgraded room. When I asked to receive a refund for the difference I was told no. I will not be staying here again.”

“We went in a pinch due to construction issues in our home. It was a really nice stay!”

“This was a terrible place to stay: we’d already paid for our stay and would have left if able. It took 4 days to get our sink to drain. The shower water pressure was very weak and it did not get repaired until day 4 of our stay. Found someone’s socks on a chair. Pool in disrepair and could not be used. Good coffee and breakfast. Staff was pleasant but unable to get fix-it staff to help with bathroom repairs. Do not recommend this hotel!!”

“We checked in around midnight and none of our TVs worked. The night manager couldn’t get them to work. So it was the next afternoon before any of our TVs worked. Disappointing after driving 6 hours to discover no TV.”

“The room was very clean and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. I just wish that the breakfast would’ve gone later than 9 o’clock. We’re on vacation and we’re not morning people so by the time we got up and got dressed breakfast was over.”

“Stayed here a lot as my son plays football at Furman. Hotel has great beds but outside isn’t as clean and neat as it once was. Also lots of trash in hallways.”
