“No hot water for the evening - it was slightly lukewarm. Wife could not take a bath. Did not know I also had to pay an $25 per day for parking. The $25 adjacent Parkade was so old and so small that the Honda minivan could barely clear the ceiling. Good thing I did not take my truck and when we parked the spots were so small that either I had to crawl across to the passenger side to get out or had to stop in the middle of Parkade to let everybody out. “The staff was very friendly and the hotel is quite charming with history. Typical of Fairmont hotels. A great hotel for spoiling or treating others. I agree with the over all rating of the other hotel reviews of it. Recommend to stay at if interested in staying at. Just remember it is an old hotel of 1915 and has been updated since then.”

“Room could’ve been cleaner, the glass top on the nightstands has spills underneath that were not cleaned. The carpet was quite dirty behind the nightstands when accessing outlets. Bathroom was as expected, some areas of grout could’ve been attended too. Staff upon check in completely ignored us, and we waited for a long time prior to someone even being at the front desk which seemed odd for a Friday check in. “Everything was great be aware of the $30 per night parking charge, which was not announced and came as a surprise on our bill. Underground Parkade is a fantastic venue and worth every penny of $30 just wasn’t aware of it.”
