“Clean room, nice staff, older building but nice interior.”

“Everything was clean. The Staff is very nice and helpful. I do wish that they would bring back the in room coffee pots. Coffee was available in the lobby from 6am- 10am. All in all I was happy with my stay. I was surprised that all the rooms are indoors, not a typical Motel 6.👍”

“Smelled of cigarettes. I found a cigarette butt under my bed. The floor was yucky. There was no waste basket. Electric outlets did not work properly. The cooling unit did not work properly. The bathtub was clean and I did enjoy a bath.”

“The bed was clean but the couch and bathroom were terrible, bathtub and tile were so old and nasty and the coach had a lot of stain marks, lady at front desk is kinda rude ”

“The open breakfast is a nice feature just standard items. The location is great because a lot of stores are near by if you need anything. My issue was the room smelled like mold/wet sock a bit which was off putting. The room is not soundproof well and the room was in front of this gutter where the water was falling from the second floor into the grass creating a puddle that I heard all not. For what is was, the price point, and everything near by it was an okay stay. ”

“What a pleasant surprise! We had a group of 8 golfers and we were looking for somewhere near Auburn for a golf tournament and extra rounds that had good reviews and wasn’t ridiculously priced and this place was great. Rooms were renovated, clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and cute retro feel. “The floor of our room was sticky. Very pet friendly. Breakfast buffet was not stocked well, specifically they were out of coffee the first day and out of hot water the next. To be fair, once I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, they alerted the breakfast crew and they remedied the problem. ”

“Only needed a place to get dressed before and sleep after a concert. Basic no complaints. ”

“The heater in the room I stayed in, upstairs and directly above the hotel office, needs to be repaired. It smelled like carbon monoxide.”

“This place is a basic motel, clean and serviceable for an overnight stay, but not very pleasant to hang out in. It does not look as nice as the photos online. The desk staff was friendly. The positives are that the location in Grass Valley is convenient and the price is very reasonable compared to many of the lodgings in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area.”

“IHG/Expedia - NO HUMANS - I was unable to cancel my via the AI system. When I asked the AI if it was a human, it would only reply something like "I am a certified agent". I tried for over an hour through various chat bots. Never found a human. Was unable to cancel and get a refund. Was unable to make a complaint, even. NEVER USING EXPEDIA OR IHG AGAIN, UNTIL THEY HIRE HUMAN CUSTOMER SERVICE. ”
