“If you want to unplug a bit and get away this is the place. Very clean cabins. Kitchen had everything you need. Nice sitting area outside with a grill. Very quiet and relaxing with the Yuba River right there. Staff were extremely nice. Our dogs our now depressed we came home. Pretty sure they thought it was our new home. ”

“Had a nice stay here over the weekend! The staff is very friendly and quickly accommodating to any needs. The lodge is tucked away in a quiet, but not too secluded spot, so it’s very easy to find, yet is in a safe area & away from any busy traffic. The highway is just up the road, but the road noise gets muffled a bit by the forest between - very nice! I’ll stay here again for sure if I’m in the area.”

“This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. “We booked the top floor because it has that attic, Harry Potter feeling. OMG! It is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The room is so beautiful. “This property is really a hidden gem of a hotel. The rates are very reasonable and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The property even has a natural waterfall and a fern grotto which is extraordinary. The rooms are older but very clean and well maintained. Also the beds are very comfortable. The room also has a small refrigerator and microwave. All in all this is a place you should really consider. I know i would definitely come back. ”

“Had a really lovely 4 nights at the inn. Owned by a really lovely and friendly couple. Room was a good size, with a big comfortable bed. Plenty of bedding and towels. You get to use a lot of the property as well as the room.
