Hotel a Norden

“The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

“There was plenty of parking. There was no elevator, which is disclosed on the inn’s website. The grout between the bathroom tile looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in years. The place appeared to be minimally maintained and, to me, over-priced but maybe that’s what the market will bear in Truckee.”

“The location was great the lake was across the street the hotel was ok but I felt it was geared towards skiing and not enough variety for restaurants mainly hamburgers and pizza. The restaurant Rosie’s is so awesome food was delicious and a big variety to choose from Shopping was great a lot of shops in walking distance”

“Bathroom door was broken and we got locked out of bathroom for a night. After hours emergency line took an hour to respond. Only resolution offered was $ 33 refund and key to use a bathroom close to where we had sited a bear that morning! This place could not even provide standard living condition that are supposed to be considered a bare minimum for keeping rental license!”

“Had our dog and choices are slim in North Lake area. I didn't expect much but was disappointed we couldn't connect to internet, no coffee maker, and it was a bit dirty. The room was spacious and beds good-sheets smelled nice and clean. Location great- across the street from dog park on the Lake!”

“Room, kitchen, bathroom, family room was clean. Only issue was the sink and shower faucet was very stiff and hard to adjust. Quiet and the balcony was wonderful. Convenient location.”

“It was a nice stay. The room felt new and has a good cabin-like cozy vibe. Do remember bringing your own toothbrush & toothpaste as the hotel doesn't have them.”
