“The most unforgettable part of staying here is the stunning natural beauty all around you. The mountains and green trees feel like a postcard come to life. A highlight was the Tram, just a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel, that takes you up to the historic Olympic station from the 1960 Winter Olympics. The scenery at the top is breathtaking, and the food there was delicious — definitely worth staying for lunch.

“Very nice place. If you like the antique look, you'll love this place. I liked that the living room could be converted into another bedroom, since the bathroom is in the middle of the bedroom and the living room.”
“Stayed there between summer and ski season. Excellent value. Not particularly crowded. Easy drive to lakeside on the quieter north side. Staff helpful and friendly. At the foot of the ski runs literally at the base of the mountains. And on the edge of a great golf course.

“The bed in our room was old there was a hump in the middle of it and my husband and I sank down into the bed. Both our backs were sore the next day.
As far as places to eat the Harrah’s and the ceaser’s across the street only had high end restaurants there was nothing for grab and go and something quick to eat. We had to leave the hotel for dinner. ”

Restaurant and bar is fine plus you can easily walk to more places to eat and shop.
Location looks at Lake Tahoe on the front and a golf course on the back with golfers, dogs, incoming geese and duck. We loved it.”
