“Parking is kind of far but ok. Staff was very friendly too bad due to new management they’re kind of forced to leave but anyways it is what it is.”

“Complicated review - night time the front desk girl was awesome. Thank you! The morning person, I think there’s a humanity that is sadly, going away. No one was at the hotel but me and a few cars and I needed a little more time to work. Policy is let’s get as much money as possible, kindness would have noticed the slow middle of the week day and said ‘no problem! To an extra 30 minutes to an hour in the room. I would have tipped the cleaners for the kindness. Leaving at noon is not uncommon and...

“The staff was so friendly and the rooms were really close walking distance from everything we barely moved our car during our stay! The rooms could be slightly cleaner but they were very comfortable and the no A/C was no problem for us. I would definitely stay here again!”

“The room looked clean, but unfortunately it did not smell fresh. There was a noticeable odor, like dust and something stored away for a long time, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better ventilation or a deeper cleaning, the experience could have been much better.”

“I would stay here again. On site sauna and gym open til 10pm, gym is small but clean. They also have an on-site restaurant thats extra but breakfast was fresh and quality was excellent. One mile walk into downtown Truckee and 0.5 mile walk to nearest plaza that has a decent Thai and wine restaurant. Short 20 mins drive from Palisades if there's no traffic.”

“Beautiful hotel with modern, luxurious decor.”

“I was not aware that none of the amenities were gonna be open. None of the shops or restaurants or anything was open in the village the entire time of our stay. That is probably my fault for assuming and not checking. Every single thing in the village was closed other than the hotel. The reason why we went there was because we thought we were gonna be close to several things and not have to travel very far. Other than that, the room was great. Everything was very clean and well kept.”

“The room was spacious, but the initial listing didn't say that the pool was unavailable. That only was shared after the booking. Also, there were streaming TV's, but they could not be hooked up to the internet. Small things, but they do add up. Also, an additional charge (unclear) at check-in? ”

“We stayed 3 nights. The room was clean, but the walls were very thin, so you could hear everything. One of the towels had stains on it, but it was replaced right away. The carpet in our room had a funny smell, although we were outside most of the time and didn't care. The bathroom was small but clean. The location was convenient, close to coffee shops and main amenities. Overall, for the price, it was worth it for our small family on a budget. Would I stay again? Probably no”
