Hotel a Marysville

“The area is questionable. There were several strange men sitting in the front of the building and hanging out close to the entereance with a 24 pack of beer. The pictures on the website make the property seem fairly new but its not. Its very close to the hardrock casino which was a plus because i was attending an event there. I will not stay at this hotel again”

“Only needed a place to get dressed before and sleep after a concert. Basic no complaints. ”

“I had a really good stay at Motel 6. The room was clean and had good air conditioning, which made it really comfortable. The place was very quiet, so it was easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Parking was convenient with plenty of space, and it felt kid-friendly too. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.”

“In general, this place was way overpriced for what it offered. We were offered a water bottle upon check in, which we got to tote with our luggage to our room. For $325 per night, might they arrange to make water bottles standard for the room? The breakfast was okay, but very staff hands-off. How about a pitcher of cream for coffee instead of thimble sized plastic "cups"? The place felt secure, but I'm still not sure what we were paying for that made this place supposedly special.”

“I didn't care for the breakfast. Bacon was swimming in grease. I even told the staff member to drain the grease prior to putting it in the chafer but ignored me or perhaps didn't understand me. Hotel was very clean the only draw back is nothing is around the hotel except the casino.”

“Oldest hotel, amazingly restored. Has its quirks which makes it even more intriguing to stay there. We have stayed here before and loved it even more this time. Staff is amazing and makes your stay welcoming and comfortable.”

“We found the stay at the motel to be quite enjoyable. We had a room with a queen bed in the main section of the room and another room with a 2nd queen bed. The room had everything that we needed. It is in walking distance to the downtown are with many shops and restaurants. This is a really good value.”

“Super clean, easy to park, close to restaurants and stores ”

“Parking was in the street or behind the building- you can only park for 3 hours at a time. On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. ”

“BYO"everything". When we rented the place, there were pictures of a jacuzzi and pool. They didnt tell us that was under construction. The shower had hair all in it and uncleaned. So taking a hot bath was out of the question. The sliding door to the deck is unable to open. Bring all your own plates, utensils, pots , pans. And loud partiers at midnight on a weekday.”

“I had been wanting to stay at The Pines Inn and Cottages for some time, so I worried my expectations may be inflated - but I moved my bags in and never wanted to leave. 🌷 There are so many room details that make it easy to be away from home, the bed is so S-O-F-T, and the grounds are magic waiting to happen. It was lovely in early spring, but I can imagine what an amazing place the Inn grounds become later in the year. I cannot wait to reurn. 🍃”
