“The motel was adequate for a one-night stay in East Melbourne and provided the basic facilities we needed. The location was convenient for accessing the city, and it served its purpose as somewhere to sleep overnight. However, the accommodation was quite basic and lacked the comfort and presentation we would normally expect. It may suit travellers looking for a simple, convenient overnight option. For us, it was satisfactory for one night, but we would choose alternative accommodation next...

“My wife and I stayed at The Settlement on the 7th and 8th due to a family bereavement. The staff were caring and compassionate from Check in to departure. The rooms are a generous size and spotlessly clean' The food was excellent and the waiting staff and bar staff attentive. Special thank to Jason for his care and kind words at a difficult time. I recommend The Settlement if you need accommodation in the Cranbourne area use The Settlement.”

“We lost our little one’s jacket worth way more than the booking cost - it got burnt while taking picture near the fire glass but more than one foot away. I can’t imagine what would have happened had the kid gone close to the fire glass. Raised it to staff for no barriers or warnings there and they didn’t do nothing, let alone compensating us for our loss. Poor attitude and poor take on issues. Other than this issue stay was okay. Swimming pool was the best part of the hotel.”
