“This is an old-fashioned motel with some limitations — no elevator, small bathrooms, etc. But it is the cleanest place I have ever stayed, has been updated over time, has comfortable beds, offers a good breakfast, and enjoys a nice location next to a stream with outdoor seating. The only real drawback to our stay was an overly noisy air conditioner.”

“The room was very clean and comfortable in the bathroom was too. It was also large the TV worked. There’s a refrigerator and I believe there’s a microwave although I didn’t use it. The grounds are pretty with a lovely sitting area in the shade of some trees. The hotel staff were awesome. Very eager to make our stay happy and comfortable. “What a nice, vintage place - yet very clean and not shabby at all! I enjoyed sitting on the porch. A breakfast place is nearby. I thought being so old, there would be thin walls, but it was so quiet! The bed was comfy and the shower was so great, I took a picture of the shower head to get for home. I would definitely stay here again if in this part of Vermont. ”

“It was acceptable for one night, but the key was a little worn and hard to use, the mirror on the door is not usable, and the room smells terribly like old cigarette smoke, mattress had a plastic protector cover, made it hard to sleep peacefully. It’s a quaint historic motel. Fixing these things would make it even better. I feel like it’s a live in motel, seemed a few of the tenants were not temporary. ”
