“We had an amazing stay at Viking Village resort! It is an absolute hidden gem and truly felt like a fairytale escape. The cozy wooden houses are free-standing, which gives you excellent privacy, making them perfect for either a family trip or a solo getaway. I was so pleasantly surprised to find a fully equipped kitchen inside. The entire area is incredibly quiet with absolutely no outside noise—just total peace. “A little overpriced but a good stay”

“A delightful stay at this beautiful, well-kept historic inn! The room and common areas were beautifully furnished and the cleanliness and amenities were comforting. The staff were knowledgeable, gracious, and helpful. We’ll be back!”

“This is one of the best country inns we ever tried: charming, cozy and friendly. The atmosphere is authentic and warm, as are the owners. The country and the woods surrounding are great, even the breakfast is excellent! We loved the room and also the sitting room, full of beautiful books.”

“Our room was very clean and smelled wonderful we found a scent disc by the ac and made our room smell refreshed. AC was perfect and we took a to go breakfast with us to continue our vacation to Pittsburg NH . Great place to stay!! restaurant was great and we visited a few breweries while we were in town.”

“NO FRONT DESK NO HOUSE KEEPING ( 4 nights !!) No Coffee ( machine broken) No sparkling water ( CO2 cylinder empty) ROOM : very small BATHROOM: even smaller, not even a toilet brush. (Remember NO HOUSE KEEPING) STAFF: hardly seen any. HOT TUB: broken handle cover All in all very badly managed and maintained hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone. Definitely not coming back.”

“The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

“The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful for our needs. The breakfast was limited and it was make your own type of choices such as bagels, slices of three kinds of bread, and English muffins. You can toast them by yourself and small individual packaged butter were provided. Not cream cheese nor jam. Not hot meals such as eggs nor bacon, sausage. We however enjoyed the bagels every day! There were some fruits available. We also loved the jacuzzi, a large tub very much....
