“I'm handicapped. Although they gave me a first-floor room, access from one's car via sliding glass door was problematic owing to a two-foot ridge of ice. They did shovel a path through for me, though. The sink wouldn't drain, but they it fixed quickly. The fridge froze everything inside it, no matter how adjusted. ”

“I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+.”

Our hosts were very kind, and put generous effort into providing delicious breakfasts, giving suggestions about local attractions, and allowing us as much or as little cat time as we wanted. The room we were in was very cozy, with a comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches such as a water kettle for tea or coffee, a small fridge, and a TV setup we didn’t take advantage of. “Parking was right in front of the building. The place was very clean all over. Breakfast was included, they served pastries, bagels, yogurt, etc. Super easy check in process. The Chalet is only about a 5 minute drive from mount snow! So grateful to the staff who texted me to let me know we had left something behind and the room when they went to clean it! ”

“The house was nice and the fireplace was lit up when we got home in the evening - so cozy. The area around the pool is fantastic. The pool, air hockey table, pool table, a bar, and outdoor cooking area, it really has something for everyone. ”
