“Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The whole property was spotless, the facilities were beautiful, the room was probably the nicest one we have ever stopped in, furnished to an extremely high standard and so comfortable. Honestly, don’t even think about looking for somewhere else in the area…you will not find better!! Oh yes, the homemade marmalade at breakfast is to die for too!!!”

“Walking in to the hotel was beautiful but it’s so hard to get a parking space , it’s all been redecorated so went up to our room which was room 6 and it’s very dark so we had to put the lights on in the afternoon, lots of clattering and banging going on so went to reception and spoke to them and they said it was the bins getting taken out I just was checking that it wasn’t going to be like that all night , there is a middle door which was being used and it just banged shut , through the night...

“This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and at £85 for the room, it is frankly unbelievable how poor the overall standard was. From the moment I arrived, the tone was set by an incredibly rigid and unfriendly approach. I asked about check-out time and was told it is strictly 11:00 AM, and even being 5 minutes late would result in a £20 charge. “Room was not of the standard off the rooms we normal get,and was on second floor with no lift access(husband ill health ,asked for room lower down,wanted extra £60 for 2nights .everything else was perfect as usual,and we are regular visitors !”
