Dumfries Arms Hotel
The room appeared tired with predominantly dull brown furniture though armchair seating in our upgraded room was comfortable. The bed seemed springy but in fact we both slept well. Best feature of the room was the bathroom which appeared to have been renovated recently with a roomy walk in shower. ...

Inviting 2-bed Barn With hot tub Near Muirkirk
The Bothy is a great find. Intimate space ideal for a couple that would suit a small family too. Bothy was spotless. Some nice walks nearby and interesting spots a short drive away. The hot tub is really welcoming on a cold evening.

We had a fantastic short break at Muirston. The cottage was lovely and really big and it was well equipped with everything we needed. Static Caravan with Decking porch, Quiet and Remote, with car parking.
Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there.
