“Arrived late, and left early, so we didn't check out most of the hotel. It is an older building, but has a lot of updated amenities. Served it's purpose well enough”

“Had to move rooms as TV did not work. The sink drain was slow. Next room the hair dryer did not work and the face plate was broken. On the up side it was very clean, the bed comfortable and the staff was most gracious.”

“Staff was great. Office closes at 10pm so make sure if you run out to you car you have your key. Outside in the back were I walked the dog looked like a homeless camp. Parking lot very dirty. We had no power so didn’t have many choices with a dog. Price was great and lots of food options close”

“Even though I had booked a room through this site, when I arrived the hotel was overbooked and I did not have a room. The desk clerk offered no apologies and no solutions.”

“Had to wait till 6pm to check into a room with only 1 bed when I reserved a room with 2 beds. No smoke detector, no hot water, no soap, plugs didn’t work properly. Blinds barely closed. The room was “clean” as it seemed like it was just finished being half remodeled.”

“The other visitors were very quiet. The house is super cool with the original molding flooring woodwork etc but has been restored. My room had a skeleton key and i couldnt figure out how to make it work and was too scared i would either lock myself in or out so i didnt use it and just trusted nobody would mess with anything. “Our four night stay at the Avanti House in the Kellogg Room (room#7) was amazing, they had everything we could need including private bath, common rooms, and kitchen with toaster oven/microwave, and everything you need for coffee/tea and snacks”

“I was in this hotel for a business trip. They have a business center, free wifi, an in house restaurant, and fitness center. It is a good hotel for a business trip. Not near the city center. Walking distance fron Notre Dame University.”
