Edgewater è stato un lungo periodo preferito 'South Padre Island' con Texans Invernali e visitatori estivi, in una posizione comoda e bella ad un prezzo incredibile. Recentemente ristrutturato condominio al 5 ° piano, in un complesso molto ben curato.
Lasciatevi coccolare in questo condominio bello, godersi il campo da tennis, grande jacuzzi caldo e piscina di fronte oceano, anche confortevole zona patio con sedie.

Edgewater is a great property. This is the third different room that we’ve stayed at there.the furniture and the beds were very comfortable, this condo needs a face lift. The master bedroom paint had stains on it. The master bathroom door closest to the toilet is splintered at the bottom.Both bathrooms fans were extremely noisy. The water pressure was not good. most of the wall outlets would not hold whatever we plugged into them. The lamps in the master bedroom kept going on and off on their own due to the bad wall outlets.

Great little get-a-way over the holiday weekend. Got off to a rocky start due to airline issues and wasn't able to arrive until the next day, but not the hosts fault at all. Rest of our stay was great.

Nice loacation

Overall listing and reviews of the property are accurate. Unfortunately as another guest stated the roof leaks when it rains. It rained our last day and that evening/ night multiple leaks started in the master bathroom, closet, and one over the kitchen table. This caused the master bathroom to be unusable and kept us up with the dripping in buckets and garbage cans we placed to try and catch the water. Luckily it was our last night.

Great View and location

The property was clean and well kept up. The condo was clean. Especially like the fact there was a pantry closet in the kitchen area. So many condos have nowhere to put stuff cuz all the cupboards are filled with dishes Etc. The View was amazing and the complex was very well kept up. A couple things we didn't like were the bed in the master bedroom. It was not heavy enough or something every time my husband turned over it rocked the bed and woke me up it seemed. Certainly not true in our own bed so this was different. One other thing due to our age in our 70s and '80s and my having had two hip replacements the toilet in the master bathroom was very low and hard to get up off of! Would be helpful to have a bar put there for people who have any issues like this. But all in all it was a good place and we would recommend it

Great vacation rental

We really enjoyed our stay! Only left to get food, go to the beach and use the pool. Otherwise the view was spectacular and we didn't need to go anywhere else! 10/10 would do again

Beautiful view and pleasant stay

The balcony had beautiful views of ocean, and could look over the balcony at the pool right below the room. We could watch the fireworks that went off on the bay side from outside of our from door. The condo had plenty of room for 5 adults! It's a very secure gated area and we felt completely safe the whole time we were there! The beds were comfy also! The location was convenient to be able to walk too most things around the area of you didn't want to drive. The pool/ hot tub was nice and so were the tennis courts. (The only grill on the property was charcoal with no charcoal.) The AC worked well and it was nice to come to cool condo! My only complaint is there wasn't as many consumables stocked as we are used to in most other VRBOs we've stayed in. There was only 1 roll of tp in each bathroom, 1 extra trash bag, no paper towels, no dishcloths, no laundry soap/ dryer sheets, no coffee, and no dishwasher soap. So we definitely had to take a trip to Wal Mart (10 minutes away or there's a grocery store called Blue Marlin IGA that was about 2 minutes away). All in all, a great condo to stay in and would definitely stay there again! 👍

inconvenient surprises

when we came over, we got a disappointing surprise that the ocean view balcony that was the whole place I booked the place was under construction, and for 2 days there were paint cans/ wood stilts and other construction stuff. as if that was not bad enough the construction workers were in and out of the condo drugging dirt and sand on their boots. instead of resting on the beach, I had to clean up the floors in the condo so my baby could walk and crawl. to top it all off, the elevator was under construction on the day of our departure, and I had to load all the baby gear into the car by running up and down the stairs from the 5th floor. after 7th trip downstairs, I was approached by a property manager who saw me struggling and finally helped me out and let me use the elevator for the last couple of trips. the whole morning was a nightmare. whatever rest I got during the stay was ruined and disappeared due to the enormous strain of those packing runs. The place has mold in the vents. I am extremely allergic and had to take Benadryl three times a day for the whole length of my stay. I know booking online is always a gamble, but this one was a huge letdown!

Spring break

Condo is exactly as advertised. Great location, great property. Had an issue with the door lock but property manager was very responsive and it was fixed the next day. Only thing I might recommend is to make it a little clearer on the check in instructions which codes are for the property gates vs which code is for the condo door. Thanks again!

Perfect location

Well kept clean condo. The beds were comfortable, everything worked as advertised. Definitely will look for this same property next year when we come to SPI for our usual 2 weeks.

Great views!

This was a great location and the condo was perfect for our little family. We loved the fifth floor views of both the Gulf on one side and the fireworks from the other. The unit was clean and exactly as described in the listing. We were thrilled to get it since it was a last minute booking. In unit laundry was a huge plus, as well as having beach towels & toys. Thanks so much for letting us give our boys a beach stay! We love SPI and the central location of this condo was really nice.

Our new favorite condo!!!

This was our first time in South Padre Island and this condo did not disappoint! We loved that this condo had everything we needed! Beds were very comfy! Full size washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, and great views!!! We also loved that the actual condo building was not over run with people! It was very calm and relaxing! We will definitely be returning next year!

Roof leaks

The condo is large, plenty of space. The views and location are amazing. The ceiling has significant leaks. We had to keep a towel on the floor so no one would slip on the tile because of the dripping water. There is also a leak right above the dining room table that we had to deal with. The balcony door wouldn't stay closed unless we locked the deadbolt so we had to set something in front of it to prevent it from swinging open while we sat outside. If you're looking at this condo for the security features, then you might want to look elsewhere. The entrance gate and front pedestrian gate were never locked. The beach access gate stayed locked, but people just jumped over it if they didn't have the code.

Great place, right on the beach!

We have stayed at this complex before, perhaps even in this same unit. The building is nice as it is not too large, but has a large pool and hot tub. The temp of the pool was great for the weather. The unit itself was clean, comfortable and decently appointed. The only issue really was the toaster (4 slice) only worked on 2 slices...one on each half the toaster. Also, there are no dish washing clothes in the unit, which is not real convenient. Some of the furniture is pretty dated and well worn and could probably stand an update. The chair, couch, love seat and beds were comfortable, which is the main thing. Overall, we would stay at this property again.
