“The place has a ton of potential. It’s very run down.”

“I always enjoy staying here. It’s friendly, down to earth , budget priced, and yet had all the amenities of a big corporate chain. Excellent restaurant, Duluth Grill, my favorite, is right next door. The hotel is well situated in the heart of Duluth, but not downtown, making access and parking a breeze. My only negative this time was that cigarette smoke kept coming into my non smoking room. It got so bad I had to stuff towels under the doorway. Not sure where the smoke was coming from but...

“Interesting hotel built in the early 1990s. There are still things visible from that era, however the hotel has been updated a bit. If you are looking for high level comfort, and luxury, this place isn't for you. But it is comfortable, and kind of cool in an old-fashioned way. Large parking area is in the back, just drive into the alley behind.”

“Wow, what a gem in Downtown Duluth! I'm sad we couldn't stay longer. Brand new property, very clean and well-appointed with all the comforts of home. Staff were very helpful at check-in and gave detailed instructions on accessing the room, parking etc. Room was beautiful, large and squeaky clean. Bed/pillows were very comfortable and linens absolutely spotless. Great location with easy access to dining, shops and bars. “We decided to stay here for a couple nights for the Duluth Airshow as it was nearby. It was wonderful. Staff was attentive and respectful. The room was clean and ac was working well. The beds were comfy and two types of pillows were offered (firm and soft). The only con is that the walls were a bit thin and could easily here people above us stomping around. If you're sensitive to sound. Would reccomend bringing earplugs to use for sleeping. The continental breakfast was great. They have a...

“Could not figure out where the parking was. Said parking was behind building but no spaces all day. Did find secure parking down the street next to the casino.”

“Is very clean, breakfast was good, room was great.”

“The room in which we stayed had windows across the entire span of the suite. It was a beautiful view. We took advantage of the weight room but wished it had a pool. The parking ramp was quite inconvenient as it was up steps and across the street through an alley. The hotel does have a loading zone if you wish to use it prior to parking the car.”

“Good place to stay and absolutely fabulous location that is minutes from all the cool stuff to do in Duluth and Superior. I just wish they had a water fountain to refill water bottles and that we could connect more than two devices to the WiFi. Hard to get good cell phone signal sometimes.”

“Pool was ice cold, everything else was ok, not the best but you get what you paid for. We wiped the room down with disinfectant wipes and they were filthy afterwards. Rooms should be better maintained. The door had swollen making it very hard to close to the bathroom and ceiling was drooping over the shower.”
