“What a hidden gem! Great price! It's an older hotel but the staff are very pleasant; there's a swimming pool; the rooms and the hotel are clean; bed is very comfortable; great hot breakfast. Why pay more to stay at the Deerfoot Inn! This hotel is literally within walking distance to the Deerfoot Inn and Casino but not in minus temperatures! ”

“The room was a nice size and clean. Every staff member was wonderful. The only thing we would like to pass your way is that, even though each bed had 4 pillows, they all seemed to be hard on our necks when we laid down for the night. Maybe having different types of pillows...soft, medium, hard...would provide those wishing to stay at your Sandman Hotel and Suites in Calgary South with additional choices when it comes to comfort when trying to sleep.”

“The hotel is nice and the room are comfortable and nicely recently renovated. We had an high floor facing downtown with nice view, however on Friday there is a club called blue in front with super loud music which made it impossible for me to catch sleep. They kept going until 4 am or even later, I recommend another hotel if you want peace and a good night sleep. Also there were not rope or room shoes in our room which is quite unusual for an hotel of this standing. ”
