“This property is old and is in need of renovation. As just a few examples of many, the ceiling tiles in my room had holes in them and there was duct tape on the floor of a common area where flooring was missing. It is also very loud when people use the stairs or walk around above you. Although I had booked a single room, the women’s shared bathroom was out of order while I was there, and I had to use a bunk room inside bathroom on another floor throughout my stay and invaded the space of those...

“Nice house with quiet and considerate people. Everything was clean and thoughtfully provided. The only issue with the room was that the door lock keypad didn’t work. We ended up just leaving the room unlocked after we left for the day. The house felt safe, and we didn’t leave any valuables in our room. Locking the room at night from the inside worked fine.”

“Need sound cancelling headphones - loud drunks and noise until midnight. You need to be able to walk up 22 stairs to front desk with suitcase - no elevator to reception desk. Definitely in the hostel category. Good walking location to central train station.”
