“This is a great older property on the highway as you come into Lead from Deadwood. I used to live in town so .camilair with the property and it's history. They have cabins and rooms. We stayed in a room. It was roomy even with a King size bed, plus had a loveseat, tall dinette, dresser, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pet friendly property. “This is great place to stay in the Northern Black Hills, and great place to spend the evening Downtown Spearfish. Our evening started with a stroll through the alley to a Wine shop that had a great back yard. We enjoyed a glass and then made our way to Nona's kitchen, which is one of the best Italian places in South Dakota.. After dinner we made our way to the Tucked Tie, for their specialty drinks. . We were able to walk back up to the Queen City Inn, after a great night in Spearfish....

“There was close and easy assigned parking. Loved staying here. Very cool building and great staff. Only complaint is the beds ans pillows are not good. But would stay here again!”

The hot tub took awhile to get warm, but once it did, it was super relaxing. The host was very kind—they responded quickly when I asked if there were any specific instructions for how to use the hot tub. It was between very cold or super warm outside, and both the heater and the air conditioners worked perfectly. Likewise, I always bring instant coffee and sugar...

He was so helpful, respectful and neatly dressed ;) It was also nice to walk downstairs right onto main street where all of the restaurants, shops and little casinos are walkable.
