“Big Paul’s is the place to be in El Nido - we didn’t know what to expect and opted for a private twin room with for £15 each Free rum and coke - for 3 hours Copious free shots - made by Paul himself Loads of other amazing backpackers from around the world Free breakfast and just everyone is so nice! 5 mins in a tricycle from El Nido town centre Bike rental yards away Can’t fault it one bit - we only wish we could have stayed longer (my liver probs couldn’t take it though)”

“We loved our stay - great staff, attentive and the complimentary shuttle was a nice touch. The only thing they should work on is the massage service. The AC was blasting, when you are butt naked getting a massage you want the room to be a nice temperature. Other than that, a 10 out of 10. We loved the geckos and their sounds!”

“Very comfortable room. Wonderful view on the bay and Cadlao island. Private tours for the island (we have done tour A and C) starting directly from beach in front of the resort. Only negative point is that to reach the resort you should take two trycyles, one included in the services of the resort and one for payment. “I'm giving it a 2 star review only for the kindness of the owner, the free breakfast and the location. Otherwise it would have been a 0. The place is bad, really really bad. The room was small, dirty, infested with bugs, never cleaned in 4 days (imagine how much sand brought from the beach and how many dead insects were on the floor after 4 days of stay). “Nice hotel. Great staff. Excellent pool and sun deck. Good restaurants in the hotel. Wall to Coron is 15 min. Or $50-$100 tricycle ride. Walk to El Nido town is about 30 min, or $100-$150 tricycle ride. Lots of stuff around the hotel too for food. ”

“We loved staying at Forest Camp! It was rugged and authentic with cute rooms and amazing views. There are some serious stairs but don't let that discourage you. The views are worth it. And what really makes it is Di and Rio. These two are such a valuable addition to the property and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are taken care of.
