While the hotel is currently undergoing renovations and there is noticeable work in progress throughout the property, it didn’t significantly affect my overall experience. The true highlight of my stay was the staff—exceptionally kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their professionalism and warmth made a real difference. I’m confident that once the renovations are complete, the hotel will offer an even better experience. ”

“Staying at Miss Emily's Place is like staying at a friend's house. The owner, Annette, is charming and ever so helpful. In fact, she goes out of her way to make your stay in her city enjoyable. Her staff is very helpful too. The property is close to transport and a couple of local bars. My room was comfortable and clean and it had air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay with Annette and Miss Emily's Place. In fact, a traveller I met weeks later had stayed there too. A great find. ”

“There were many issues with the rooms, the first suite we were given had problems, the key was not working and the Fridge was not working. so they had to move us to another suite which also had problems, the AC didn’t have a remote and the shower didn’t have hot water. The wifi was very poor. The staff didn’t know how to solve some of these issues. ”

“Friendly staffs especially Stephanie and Georgette. Always smiling and willing to help. My only concern was the electricity (current) issue. The backup power supply is not too good. The property itself can benefit from a little bit of maintenance especially the yard.”

“Property owner and staffs very unprofessional. Owner harassed tenant for the duration of their stay. Unsafe( come into your apartment when you leave without your concern). Lies about everything from 24 hours current, internet access and others. Very noisy and nosy. ”

“The property was very dirty, the room was not ready for me to check in, the manager claimed the payment I made to cover my stay had not been reflected in their account. The room shown to me was very dirty and no air conditioning in the room, the bed covers or sheets were dirty and stinking. The hotel does not resemble what was advertised in Expedia web site. I DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL DUE TO ALL OF THE ABOVE.”

“Bamboo Beach Resort is a wonderful gem for a relaxing getaway! I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning beach views—waking up to the sound of waves and watching sunsets from my balcony was pure bliss. The atmosphere by the pool was equally inviting, with upbeat (but not overpowering) music that added a lively yet laid-back vibe to the afternoons. There was a small hiccup with my food order not arriving exactly as requested one evening, but it was quickly rectified, and the staff’s friendly attitude...
