“Overall, the hotel was quite clean, the continental breakfast was satisfactory, and the staff was very friendly. However, there appeared to be an issue with a sewage odor in the bathroom. After showering, a strong smell would develop, which made it necessary to keep the bathroom door closed in order to remain comfortable in the room. If it weren’t for this issue, I would have rated the hotel much higher.”

“Awful service. The room had a bad smell & they did nothing about it saying it’s because the AC hasn’t been running prior to check in. I requested an extra towel and they never brought it to my room. I’m expecting someone to reach out to me about this experience ”

“There was no hot water available in the morning around 9 or 9:30. Information was not passed to oncoming personnel regarding checkout procedures.”

“This is a very old property- the room furniture was pretty worn out. The heating system wasn’t working, so they brought in a portable room heater. I’m very glad they did this- but it’s just an example of how worn out things are. The breakfast area was very full, too many people to get to the coffee & food. Tables weren’t cleaned between guests. But the price was fairly low, and the location was convenient for us, so we chose to stay here”

“Do not stay here!!! Elevator broke , room on 3rd floor. Halls and rooms smell like cigarettes. Didn't feel safe at all on this property. Hotel staff did nothing to correct. ”

“Our multiple night stay was excellent! The staff was welcoming and very helpful! If we could, we would give staff member EJ ten stars!! He was awesome! He gave us helpful tips navigating DC, gave us a list of places to eat; was just overall helpful and patient with our questions. The hotel was very clean and pleasant overall. It was a short drive from DC, yet just far enough. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!”

“The water pressure was non existent in the bathroom sink. And the bed felt super uncomfortable as well as the pillows. Probably time for an upgrade. The bathroom was also without a mirror working light. ”
