“My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. Not many restaurants nearby, but one that is an 8 minute walk. I chose to eat there several times (named "Coffee Boss"). Great selection of cafe drinks and a great menu of food. ...

“This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. “Struttura molto bella ed elegante, arredamenti nuovi e molto pulita, un peccato che abbia alcuni punti di miglioramento: Riscaldamento da accendere prima dell’arrivo degli ospiti in una giornata fredda di pioggia, nessuno del personale presente all’arrivo. “The property is wonderful with a great facilities!!! The villa was very clean, sofa bed was ready and the bed was very comfortable. AC or fan is in the rooms which is I founded very convenient. Beach towels are provided, so you don’t have to take from home. Bathroom is very clean, plenty of branded toiletries (smells amazing). “This place was a true gem for my wife and me. Tharanga and the rest of the staff blessed us beyond and always with an infectious smile. The meals prepared were amazing too. The pool and garden area was very well taken care and perfect for swim laps. When we return to SriLanka, we will want to make this a another stay:)”
