“This is a well-run pub, popular with locals. Breakfasts are very good and evening meals are available every day. The bed was very comfortable.”

“I had the basic twin because that was the only option available when I booked. The room was very clean and warm- no ocean view. Had dinner in the dining room and it was lovely Had the daily special of turkey pie and pint and it was very nice along with the fish and chips. Breakfast the next morning was a choice of cereal and fruit and pastries along with a cook to order breakfast. Again lovely. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Would stay here again if I’m back in Port Issacs”

On our arrival we was greeted by very friendly staff and was shown to our room .our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed .the view from our window was superb looking out to the sea .very comfortable and cosy ,the breakfast was superb with plenty to choose from. “The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. Other than the noise and parking, everything else was...
