“Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. “The staff are a credit to the hotel. I found them helpful and friendly. Our room was upgraded to the president suite room 128 i would highly recommend for families. Even though the room was a little dated it was clean and tidy. Have already rebooked for our next break”

“We had the most amazing day the staff were very friendly and looked after us very well. The rooms were absolutely amazing and the treatments were absolutely brilliant. Will be definitely staying here again.”

“Can I start by thanking Kate on reception who was very helpful when we requested an early check in at 12pm because we were going to a funeral at 2pm. We had travelled 3 hours from the north and she found us an empty room to get changed in which was much appreciated. The room was perfect, clean and warm. The bar was clean and tidy, we only called in for one after the funeral, no problems. The classic breakfast was perfect with plenty to eat and drink and the staff were helpful.”

“Stayed there a few times over the years . Good location for an over night stop etc. Clean and tidy over all. Friendly staff. It went down a bit a few years ago but seems to have been spruced up recently. Change of ownership? (The tv in the room had seen better days with occasional unresponsive controls. Wi-fi did not load up.)”
