Hotel vicino a Stagville State Historic Site - Durham

“the room was clean,, but not the best ..best western i stayed at staff was pleasant, breaksfast was poor,, just eggs and sausage on the buffet a/c worked,but was noisey, pool was ok, but no chairs or umberllas to sit under,and they wanted to chg 20 dollars a piece for each of my little nieces to come and go in the pool ages 6,5,3,2 i would not stay there again”

“The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The person that checked us in was not pleasant but that didn’t impact our stay. The breakfast was good. Didn’t interact with anyone else at hotel.”

“From the outside the building looks to be under construction or oddly decorated. We were a bit concerned, but the interior and accommodations were fantastic. Close to Campus, easy to get to and very clean. Perfect little spot for a quick trip,”

“Very nice renovated room. Hotel in the middle of being renovated so the lobby looks offputting. But our entire floor hallway and room was completely updated and looked beautiful. I can see the vision. Just get the lobby together. Beds are very comfortable.”

“The front desk clerk, Dyson, went above and beyond to help me. The main problem was that I got stuck in the bathroom. The door would not open. It got stuck on the carpet. There was no one available in the hotel, no maintenance staff, no manager. Dyson, the clerk, was all alone. After 30 agonizing minutes, the clerk called 911. The police finally arrived and I was released. I was extremely scared that I would not be able to get out. And I was told that this was not the first time that happened.”
