“Amazing options for breakfast! Hotel was clean and staff was amazing. Checking in after a 16 hr drive Veronica made it quick and easy for us to check in her hospitality was on point as well as the rest of the staff we encountered on our stay. ”

“Such a great stay this week. The room was nicely renovated. The bed was comfortable and the rain head shower was magnificent! The staff were so friendly and made check in/out so easy. We enjoyed the pool that was very refreshing for the hot day. We will stay here again when visiting!”

“I quite enjoyed my stay at the Mountaineer Inn. I went for Lurch Fest (in August), a fest for Philippi native Ted Cassidy, tv’s original Lurch. I had read reviews before I booked so know that there have been some upgrades. They DO have key cards and shampoo in the bathrooms. I saw some new flooring so it looks like renovations have started. “Bed very comfortable and room was quiet. Free laundry usage but need own detergent. Toilet was low to the floor. Shower head was not hand-held. Spacious frig. Good free breakfast. Worker brought more pillows and shower chair and towels. Fancy outdoor grill.”
