“This place was very different and unique; a true B&B experience. Parking was difficult, but once we got our spot we used public transportation everywhere. The nearest bus stop and train station are a ten minute walk. After we got our room we were given a tour of the property and told of all the amenities available to us (of which there were several).”

“I had a mixed experience staying at this hotel. On the positive side, the location is absolutely fantastic and incredibly convenient; this is the only reason I prefer this location over downtown. I also really loved the new amenities—both the on-site restaurant and the fitness center are excellent additions and well worth checking out.
However, the rooms themselves really need some attention, specifically the bathrooms. They are far too small, and the sinks are tiny. During my stay, I also ran...

“Some spaces look like they could use touchup and rehab but overall a cute little boutique hotel. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Love the coffee in the morning another nice touch would be maybe some pastries or muffins something simple to grab and go.
The biggest complaint is we were on the second floor on the right side and faced the parking garage and the blinds did not block out the lights. And the noise. I don’t know if people are just loud or the door slam shut but at 3 AM midnight...

“The perfect home base for a quick trip to see a Cubs game. You won’t find a friendlier or less expensive place this close to Wrigley and the lake.
The close proximity to the Red Line L puts the entire city in reach for those non- baseball outings and site seeing.
The North Halsted neighborhood, while maybe not for everyone, is such a vibrant and welcoming place.
We will be back!”
