“The host, Florence, was absolutely lovely. She wrote down several recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores in the area and said hello to us often as we passed each other during the week. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the metro entrance is right next to the apartment, so it is easy to get places. We arrived during a heat wave, and unfortunately there was only one small fan to cool things down. But Florence recommended we open the windows at night and that helped.”

While we didn't partake in all the additional services (for a fee), we did get additional towels and use the car service from the airport. There are a lot of stairs and I do not recommend this location for anyone that is recovering from knee surgery, in a physically diminished state, or who cannot pack "light" as there are no elevators and you must get yourself and your stuff up and down the winding...

“Fantastic place. The location is in the heart of things, pretty easy walk to tourist attractions in a great, lively neighborhood with many excellent restaurants and bars. The bakery round the corner just won a prize for best croissant in Paris! The apartment itself is in a charming - clean and safe - building and is a very good size for a couple - we actually went with two adults and two kids and it was fine for that two. I should mention that there is a building being renovated next door, so...
