La stanza era pulita, piacevole… unica cosa, la struttura é un po” vecchia e avrebbe bisogno di una bella ristrutturazione. ”

“We were only here for three nights but loved the time we had here. It was welcoming, spotless and our fridge was stocked everyday with breakfast foods, even bacon. The kitchen was really well stocked as was the rest of the house. For us, instead of being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves at night, we were able to hear the river and drop off to sleep with that beautiful sound, it really was a luxury home away from home. Thank you”

“Didn't like the shower curtain”

“We stayed 2 nights in the ‘deluxe’ double room No 4 directly behind reception. The self check-in process was very easy to use. I suspect like everyone else we were there to do the Alpine Crossing. So in that context it suited us fine, only a few minutes drive to the pickup point. The room was en-suite, the shower was okay once it warmed up and it had a decent TV with a range of channels. The kitchen was well equipped. Overall very good value.”

“Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo.”

“I would not recommend staying here if you want to get a good night's rest. You can literally hear everything through the walls, conversations, doors opening, footsteps, etc. Tried calling management to change my room, but they did not respond to my messages or answer the phone. Very disappointed, in particular to the response I received after I had checked out (see email acknowledging the issue).”

“We’ve previously stayed at the Grandeur Thermal Spa Resort in a Chalet room and it was great! This time we booked a studio room and it was disappointing to what we had stayed in previously. It had everything you need in a studio room. But it was “run down” or “tired” compared to previously. The bathroom in particular was in need of some TLC. Overall it was a place to sleep, and it worked for what we needed for one night.”

“Close to town area clean ,helpful , good sized kitchen. The only complaint could be about heating. Good if there was a more efficient heater since it was a very cold night”

“I spent three nights at the Millennium and found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful. Parking was adequate, and my ground floor room was stylish, clean, and spacious, with a lovely lake view and a patio. The bathroom amenities were excellent, even including a spare bath. The pool and gym were conveniently nearby and much appreciated. The restaurant served good food along with stunning views of the lake, and with the fine weather, I enjoyed relaxing on the patio, taking in the lake and...
