“What a joy it was to arrive at this place and be warmly welcomed by a lovely young French lady Agnes. We were ushered to our upgraded accommodation which was toasty warm! These new chalets are just completed and so everything is brand new! The king sized bed was super comfy with extra blankets provided. The shower is sublime! Plenty of piping hot water to warm you up after a day on the snow fields! We had delicious hot breakfasts served on gorgeous china….coffee served in silver coffee pots! ...

“Beautiful location between beside rivers with view of Mt Ruapehu (cloud permitting). Hosts were very welcoming and gave friendly advice about local walks. We did the Mangawhero Forest Walk which took around an hour along well maintained trails through stunning forest, recommended. “We had a lovely stay here, the unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our only problem was the single bunk beds which were very noisy and squeaky and the springs were too soft- one of our group got their hair caught in the springs. Otherwise the unit was great. ”
