Resort in Nuova Zelanda

“Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. This is about me booking this property on Expedia, them confirming my booking and when I arrived in New Zealand to this property it was already occupied by another couple and I was then sent another address and property that was NOTHING similar to what I actually booked. “I booked this place even though it was a little dearer than Waiheke Resort next door, because the other place had a few bad reviews about check-in only being open between 2-4pm etc, and the bar was closed early etc. So we rocked up at nearly 4pm to check in, and wow it’s the same place!! ”
