“Elsa's Inn is a lovey spot for quiet scenic stays - the bed and pillows were lush and the rooms are furnished with beautiful antiques. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assit me with a small issue. I will return whenever I am in the area. ”

“We stayed for 5 days at Elsa's Inn. If you drive its a ways from Acadia NP, but so close to the one side of the park that no one really ever goes to, Schoodic, its so worth being in Peospect Harbor. It's beautiful. Gail and the family are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! They allow pets (yellow lab), which was awesome.”

“Perfect location for walking to Main St. and enjoying all of the shops and restaurants. Also, minutes to drive to Acadia and access the beautiful National Park. Apartment with full kitchen (Raven's Nest) was great for preparing a couple of meals. The king size bed was so comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The built-in window seat for two was lovely for relaxing and reading. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. ”

“Very clean, modern space. Property owner was very informative and gave perfect instructions for check in/out. Apt was in great location, at end of village, in quiet area of town, but within walking distance to everything, no need to drive for Village activities. Included all necessities. Only upgrade I would suggest would be to add a full length mirror in the bedrooms or somewhere in apt. Otherwise, no complaints! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!”

“The apartment was very clean we were please. Parking a little confusing at first but a prompt reply was a big help. We would definitely stay there again. The stairs up to the apartment were a little challenging for my 82 year old father but everything else was great.”

“Cute, quaint motel that offered just what we were looking for during our Bar Harbor/Acadia Park get away. The decor and cleanliness of the motel was top notch! The grab and go goodies, fresh coffee and flavored water was perfect throughout the day. The location of the motel was ideal and within walking distance to many local shops and restaurants. Acadia Park was easily accessible. We would highly recommend this motel for anyone traveling to the area! ”

“The Sand Bar Cottage is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor! Arrive, unload, and stay parked while you walk and enjoy all that Bar Harbor & Acadia has to offer. Not worrying over finding parking was the greatest perk, but the entire property was beautiful with blooming flowers and the staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable. Our cottage was absolutely perfect. ”

Chris was very accommodating and got us an another night here. This was nothing but fantastic! Excellent location, staff were phenomenal and the property was nothing but beautiful indeed and well kept. I would highly recommend this hotel and Chris and his staff were very friendly and we were treated with the utmost respect. BTW we had breakfast...

"Good hotel overall: clean, spacious rooms, well organized, and a convenient free shuttle to downtown every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my “ocean view” balcony room was right in front of the air conditioning units and the restaurant’s exhaust chimney. Constant noise and fried food smell made it impossible to sleep well or enjoy the balcony. These rooms should not be priced the same as unobstructed ocean views. Poor management decision that shows little attention to guest comfort."
