“Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”

“The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here”

“We were on a cycling trip from Lands End to John O'Groats and this was not far off the route. Good value accommodation. Breakfast was excellent but the hotel does not offer an evening meal on most nights. Plenty options in town though. Staff were friendly and the pub in the hotel was friendly too. Safe and secure storage for the bikes was provided too.”

“Smooth checkin with key code. Very cool place to stay. Comfortable bedroom with en-suite and lovely smelling soap. Well equipped kitchen if you want to do your own meals. Spar is opposite. Washer and dryer and all! There is a big lounge and a dining room that has some games. Would be an awesome place to host a murder mystery party if your friends booked out all the rooms. ”

“Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is within close distance to the Rail Station, Cricket Stadium & Town Centre. Staff were great & very helpful. Bedroom was large & comfortable & despite being near the road was fairly quiet. Bathroom needed updating but was large. For the price I paid, the room comfort, staff & location I would say this hotel is perfect & will definitely be staying again.”
