“The hotel was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent (119) with king size bed and plenty of room. The bathroom was newly decorated and the shower very good. The room, corridors and reception area were clean and tidy. The only negative is that there is no food on site and the leisure facilities are no longer open and will probably never re-open. “Chris the owner always makes you feel welcome. Dining in the pub is always a tasty experience, as is the selection of ales on the bar. Rooms are tasteful in good shape, and comfortable. Parking is easy, great value for money ”
