“A nice little roadside Hotel. Not too dated. Friendly staff. Building has a nice and fun design that has a "western" feel. Breakfast was good. Mattress was a little firm for my liking, but that's just how it goes sometimes. Not the hotel's fault. My air conditioner wasn't doing too well, but that may just be that one room. Compressor kept kicking off, probably needs servicing.”

“The front desk girl was new and very friendly. I was very impressed by the woman (manager or owner) that came to assist her in helping me with the reservation. She was very professional, and I could tell that she really cared about the new employee and her training process. I'm an employer myself and was grateful for how courteous everyone was and how the employees are treated. Overall good experience-- last minute bargain for a work trip with a cozy and clean room. ”

“Cute old hotel with so much character. Rosie, the dog welcomes you. Very friendly and look forward to going back. We golfed and enjoyed the golf course and cute small town. Worth a weekend trip ”

“The Landing was perfect for our quick weekend in La Grande. The hotel staff was amazing, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Checking in and checking out was fast and easy. The building is on the older side, but it the spaces were incredibly clean and cozy. My wife and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. ”

“My only complaint was my own fault. As an old guy, I should have requested a ground floor unit. But I made my reservation on the late evening and took what I could get. No complaints against Rodeway - I just made it impossible to get a room that I could have backed the car up to. ”
