“My stay in this historic hotel was perfect. Being in this historic hotel and town with all the stories made the stay even better. The owner/proprietor made me feel at home. We had great homemade cookies, muffins, and breakfast burritos. Her knowledge of the hotel history and who had stayed there in the past was incredible. Such as Edison and Tesla as past guests. I plan to stay again whenever I’m in the area. Next time will be a longer stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“The hotel was beautiful and the staff friendly. As far as the room went, the bathroom counter space was very small and even though the sliding bathroom door was neat, it isn’t the best for privacy as the door is frosted glass. I was traveling with my four kids and they didn’t feel it was a very private space. The shower was very nice with both a removable spray nozzle and rain option. The pool was adequate and my kids had a good time in it. You could hear the freeway nearby but it wasn’t a...

“Great location. Rec path and lake within walking. The hotel is under major renovations so no breakfast service, no pool etc. But I feel the price reflected that accordingly and it was affordable for us. We had an excellent stay visiting our son and hiking the area. ”
